I saw this on sarahmeier.tumblr.com and I just had to share it. The song is not only awesome but the story meshes perfectly with it. Filmed in the motherland, The Philippines, it struck a cord with me. It reminds me a lot of my Dad's and parts of my Mum's suburb, gritty and real. Where your situation can effect your life's outcome, but it also boils down to choice.

Winkel w127: Lamp

Lamp made out of plastic that has the solid and tactile look of metal and wood.

Winkel w127 is made from a fibreglass-reinforced bioplastic containing 60% castor oil from the castor plant, making it recyclable and more environmentally sound than crude oil-based plastics. 

Designed by Berlin-based product designer Dirk Winkel for for Swedish lighting brand Wästberg.

Being a sneaker freaker and all round Nike Dunk girl, fashion has somewhat come full circle for me. It seems that Isabel Marant has given sneakers a new lease on life and fashionista's sneaker street cred with her shoes' in built wedges. Wedges in sneakers, I'm perplexed and partial to the idea. But I must say the Marant kicks do look rad.

Ebay Love: One of My Kind Shop

OK, it's official. I'm addicted to ebay. I bought my first ever purchase last week, a lace Victorian number. Think Picnic at Hanging Rock. One of the reason's why I bought the dress was it reminded me of my Mum's wedding dress, which I unsuccessfully tried to track down. And because it's awesome.

Anyways, I stumbled through this ebay shop called One of My Kind Shop. And found the following items that are quite frankly RAD.

Need/ Want: Madewell

Let's face it, Madewell is the bees knees. I love how they style their clothes, and they have the best accessories. Fortunately, I was able to visit the store when I was in NYC, and I basically wanted to buy everything.  Thank goodness for internet shopping via madewell.com because I'm digging these bad boys.

The Museum Of Contemporary Art is a place to visit! 

It's flashy new look, more space and has one of the best views of Sydney Harbour from the Cafe/Restaurant.

The Grounds

Good food, beautiful atmosphere with the front garden and interiors. 

It brings all the locals out of the woodwork to really appreciate a quiet part of Alexandria.
