GOOD FOOD CRAP DRAWING
Good Food Crap Drawing is our friend's super cool blog on all things good food. You know how people usually take pictures of their food, well she draws them instead. Creative and also a good guide on what and where to eat in Australia and around the world. Check it kids!

ANDREW RAE
I first saw Andrew Rae's work while I was living in London 2009. I went on a art gallery crawl in Shoreditch and Bethnal Green. I spotted one of his prints at Concrete Hermit's Gallery Opening - I even had the photo of the print (click here to see).
It was a mono print illustration of different characters, all with something humorous about them. I spent a while just staring at the print, reading and imagining the different narratives that each character had and how they related to each other. I was in love!!
My last year living in London I went to the Somerset House for the 'Pick Me Up Exhibition'. Andrew Rae had his work presented alongside his Illustration Collective 'Peepshow'. I fell in love with one of his prints - and bought one! I even met the real deal and took a snap shot with him!
Andrew Rae's illustrative style takes me back to University during my Illustrative classes doing comic narratives. He's my inspiration!

FASHION STAPLES
1. Black Jeans 2. Brogues 3. Leather Jacket 4. Black Skirt 5. Basic T-shirt 6. Desert Boots 7. Khaki Anorak
Can you guess which clothes are Mary's and which clothes are Maria's? Repeat offenders in our wardrobes, the staples that we keep going back to during Sydney's winter. Which might I add, winter time is insane sunny days at 18-20 degrees. Winning!

WE LOVE BROGUES!
Here at TCC we love Brogues- wingtip leather/suede goodness. Maybe it's reminiscent of 1920s dapper mens footwear and because the TCC girls tend to dress like boys. And lets not forget they are extremely comfortable. I like how this style of shoe is more available to women these days- I remember 8 years ago standing in front of mens footwear storefront windows, and cursing the gods as to why I wasn't a women's size 10 to at least fit a mens size 9. The good thing about these bad boys is they pretty much go with anything and transforms everyday outfits to the semi-formal league- and gives you street cred too, well I like to think so anyway.
If you're wondering what brand of shoes I am wearing, here you go: 1) Zomp 2) I love Billy 3) Topshop 4) Topshop 5) ASOS

Richard Mosse: The Enclave
Richard Mosse: The Impossible Image from Frieze on Vimeo.
To follow up from Monday's post on Richard Mosse's The Enclave, here is video about the work via vimeo- it was the editors pick and rightfully so. Watching this interview added a new dimension on how I view Richard's photographs, I still find the images and film to be beautiful, despite the subject matter. I really hope this installation will be shown in the 2014 Sydney Biennale. Fingers crossed!
